Actress and new mother Kate Upton is working towards losing her baby weight in the new year.

The 26-year-old model, who welcomed her first daughter, Genevieve, with husband Justin Verlander, 35, on November 7, opened up about the difficulty she has faced getting her post-baby body back in shape in a post shared to her Instagram account on Saturday, reports people.com.

“Getting in a little cardio with a family beach walk,” she captioned a sweet photo of herself carrying her baby girl on her chest and standing next to another little girl.

“I’m not going to lie to you and tell you I’ve been working out and eating healthy. It’s so hard over the holidays. Traveling and enjoying time with my family! I’m trying not to get down on myself. Instead use it as motivation to get right back at it.

“I have a long way to go to lose this babyweight but feeling determined for 2019,” added Upton.

Earlier this month, Upton told people.com that her perspective on working out has changed through out the years, from”wanting to fit into a certain dress size and hit certain measurements” to now “working out to feel healthy, strong and energized for my lifestyle.”

Upton said she found the right workout for her lifestyle with trainer Ben Bruno, who helped her transform her body and build serious muscle during their workouts for five to six days a week.

On November 10, Upton announced the birth of her daughter via Instagram.

Singer Shawn Mendes has scored his biggest career debut with the song “If I cant have you”, which had more than 30 million first-day streams.

Released on May 3, the song hit No. 1 on the iTunes chart upon its release and the music video racked up 21 million views on YouTube within the first 24 hours. Till Wednesday afternoon, the pop song’s black-and-white video had more than 39 million views, reports variety.com. Listen to the song now:

The Grammy-nominated singer performed the song for the first time on the May 4 episode of “Saturday Night Live” hosted by Adam Sandler, and appeared in a sketch. The track came together with long time Mendes collaborators Scott Harris, Teddy Geiger and Nate Mercereau, and was originally written with singer Dua Lipa in mind.

Last year, Mendes received his first Grammy nominations following the release of his third studio album. The self-titled project was up for best pop vocal album and his hit single “In my blood” was nominated for song of the year. In addition to “In my blood”, “Lost in Japan” and “Youth” all charted in the US Billboard Hot 100.

“If I can’t have you” is the artiste’s first release in 2019.

Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, have named their first child, a son born on Monday, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The royal couple made the announcement Wednesday via their official Instagram account, ending several days of feverish speculation about the baby name.

The announcement came with a black and white photo showing Queen Elizabeth II meeting her new grandson. The monarch was flanked by her husband Prince Philip, her grandson Prince Harry while at Meghan’s side stood her mother, Doria Ragland. Archie is the eighth great – grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Archie became the 7th in line to the British throne the instant he was born, but he won’t be called “his royal highness,” as the rules around the granting of royal titles were tightened up about 100 years ago.

Everyone across the world was waiting for the first pictures of Royal Baby, the first child of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Introducing the Royal baby, who was wrapped in a white shawl, Meghan said: “He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm. He’s been the dream. As they both laughed, Prince Harry said: “I don’t know who he gets that from.”

The couple confirmed they will introduce the Queen to her eighth and newest great-grandchild later on.

Talking about their first few days as parents, Meghan said: “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy.” The duke added: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing.

“It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”

On which parent the baby resembled more, Harry said: “Everyone says that babies change so much over two weeks.

“We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really. But his looks are changing every single day, so who knows.” Later, asked to show more of their son’s face to the cameras, Meghan laughed as Harry joked: “He’s already got a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful.”

Meghan added: “Thank you everybody for all the well-wishes and kindness, it just means so much.”

The infant, who is seventh in line to the throne, was delivered at 05:26 BST on Monday, with Harry saying after the birth that he and Meghan were “absolutely thrilled”.

The Duke of Cambridge has welcomed his brother to “the sleep deprivation society that is parenting”.

Prince William – a father-of-three – said he looked forward to seeing the new parents “when things have quietened down”.

The Prince of Wales has also expressed his joy at the birth.

During an official visit to Germany with the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles said: “We couldn’t be more delighted at the news and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return.”

A statement added that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, was “overjoyed at the arrival of her first grandchild” and was with her daughter at Frogmore Cottage – the new parents’ home on the Windsor Estate.

Buckingham Palace said Harry was present for the birth, which is understood to have taken place in hospital as opposed to at home.

The baby will not automatically become a prince – although he could get that title if the Queen steps in.

The baby weighed 7lbs 3oz (3.2kg), making him lighter than each of his cousins.

Prince George was 8lb 6oz (3.8kg) when he was born in July 2013. His sister Princess Charlotte was 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg) when she arrived in May 2015, while their younger brother Prince Louis weighed 8lb 7oz (3.8kg) when he was born in April last year.

The average weight of a baby in the UK is about 7lb 7oz (3.4kg).
