Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming film “Super 30” has been facing a number of problems when it comes to fixing a release date. The shooting of the film has been completed many months ago, but the film has not hit the big screens as yet. It was supposed to release on July 26, clashing on the box office with his alleged ex-girlfriend Kangana Ranaut’s film Mental Hai Kya. After avoiding the mentioned clash, it is said that the makers of Super 30 are planning to release the film on 12 July, hence clashing with Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra starrer Jabariya Jodi.
Going by the reports, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala and Hrithik Roshan have mutually agreed on a particular release window. “They want to now come on the same day as Ekta Kapoor’s other film Jabariya Jodi, which stars Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra. ‘Super 30’ will now release on 12th July, two weeks before its original date. Now, it needs to be seen if Ekta decides to move her project to some other day or she plans to take Hrithik head on in the cinema halls.” Well, looks like 2019 is going to be a year of many box office clashes.
On the related note, Hrithik Roshan was forced to shift the release date of his film Super 30 after Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel burst on him through a series of tweets regarding the films’ clash. He tweeted, “What to expect from a man who always prefers to attack your back rather than meeting you in the battle field, jitna tu aur tera PR Kangana ko giraega utna he woh teri maregi (The more you and your PR tries to undermine Kangana, the harder she’ll strike back)…. so far it wasn’t her concern magar ab tu dekh (wait and watch)… Jadoo.”
In her tweets, Rangoli also mentioned that her sister Kangana Ranaut had advised Ekta Kapoor to not release their film on the same date as Hrithik’s. She said, “Just because he can’t say anything to Ekta he will make Kangana a punching bag, Well!! U r mistaken..”
Because of these statements, Hrithik was forced to change the Super 30 release date. He took to twitter and announced, “So as to not allow my film to be desecrated by yet another media circus, I have decided to shift the release date of my film SUPER30 in order to save myself from the personal trauma and toxic mental violence this would cause. Despite the film being ready, I have requested my producers to shift and announce the next suitable date as soon as possible.”
