Royal birthdays are an
exciting time of year, and the Duchess of Cambridge just rang in her 37th on Jan. 9! Though the mother of three was surrounded by
close friends and family, two rather important royals – Prince Harry and Meghan!
– were missing from the celebrations, according to The mail on Sunday
Keeping things low
key, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the happy day on Sunday (Jan.
6) at their Norfolk home of Anmer Hall, as per the publication. The
Mail reported that there were a number of Kate’s friends on hand to
celebrate her birthday, like Emilia Jardine-Paterson, her college hockey
teammate. Emilia – Prince George’s godmother – also brought along her
Also in attendance
was Princess Charlotte’s godmother, Laura Meade, and her husband, James,
as well as Kate’s longtime friend Sophie Carter and her husband, Robert. Many
royal watchers will remember that the duchess played a role in Sophie and

Charlotte completely stole the show as bridesmaid and pageboy!
could be many reasons explaining Meghan and Harry’s absence from Kate’s
birthday. Given the fact that they are expecting their first child in a few
months’ time, they must have more than a few things on their to-do list … Like

very likely that Duchess Meghan sent her sister-in-law many well wishes for her
big day, and they clearly shared a few happy moments together while with the
Royal Family at Sandringham for Christmas.
Actors Richard Madden and Ellie Bamber have split after being together for 18 months.
According to The Sun on Sunday, Madden, who recently won a Golden Globe for Netflix’s “Bodyguard”, was dumped last month amid fears their lifestyles had become “worlds apart”.
“Les Miserables” star Bamber was absent when Madden scored a Golden Globe victory last weekend.
A source close to Madden has said: “They’re both absolutely gutted but it was a decision made for the best. They were arguing almost daily towards the end and, despite considering couples’ therapy, it became evident there were far too many issues that could not be fixed.
“Richard is the toast of Hollywood at the moment, and understandably wants to let his hair down. Ellie is a bit quieter, and wants to focus purely on her work. It felt like their day-to-day lives were increasingly becoming worlds apart.”
“They were pretty inseparable from the day they met – and their friends and family had all merged – so obviously every one around them is gutted too. But both Ellie and Richard hope to remain friends,”the source added.
Kevin Fret who was popularly known by many as the first openly gay Latin trap artist was shot dead in San Juan. The murder is being investigated by the police. The 24-year-old singer was killed early on Thursday, reports ace showbiz.com. According to Puerto Rican newspaper El Nuevo Dia, Fret was riding a motorcycle in the Santurce neighbourhood at about 5:30a.m. when he was shot at eight times. He was then taken to the Rio Piedras Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
His death is the 22nd homicide in Puerto Rico in 2019, part of what local officials call a”crisis of violence”.
Fret’s manager, Eduardo Rodrigues, confirmed the death of his client through an official press statement.
“Kevin was an artistic soul, a big-hearted dreamer. His passion was music, and still had a lot to do. This violence must stop. There are no words that describe the feeling we have and the pain that causes us to know that a person with so many dreams has to go,” he said.
Rodrigues added: “We must all unite in these difficult times, and ask for much peace for our beloved Puerto Rico.”
An outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ community, Fret first stepped into the Latin music world in early 2018 with “Soy Asi”, a song that highlighted his fierce personality. The music video has garnered more than a half million views on YouTube.
