DeepVeer Wedding: Sabyasachi Dresses the Newlyweds in Color of Love

The wait is finally over!

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have shared their first pictures as newlyweds, and the photos look nothing short of a fairytale.

The Bollywood power couple married in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14 followed by a Sindhi wedding on November 15 in the presence of their family members and close friends at Lake Como in Italy

The couple left no stoned unturned in following both North and South Indian traditions at the wedding, and looked gorgeous in their Konkani and Sindhi wedding attire.

It’s finally established that the couple’s outfit was designed by the star designer Sabysachi Mukherji.

Sabyasachi created beautiful outfits for the couple in shades of red and gold and made them look like a match made in heaven.

Even though we are running out of words but still managed to break down what your favorite bride and groom wore on their D-day.

Konkani Wedding Ceremony Look:

Following the White-gold theme of the traditional Konkani ceremony, Deepika draped a golden saree with shades of orange and red by Sabyadsachi.

Like a typical South Indian bride, she wore heavy temple ornaments, golden dangling jhunkas, layers of necklaces and a beautiful mang tikka. This gave her look a touch of traditional South Indian bridal look.

She let the lehenga and the jewellery do the talking, as she opted for a subtle makeup and smokey eyes batting her long lashes.

On the other hand Ranveer Singh, the gorgeous groom, donned a traditional white Kurta with golden border teamed up with a Dhoti. We love his sartorial fashion choices as a groom.

Sindhi Wedding Ceremony:

Wearing a vibrant traditional red and golden lehenga, Deepika looked nothing less than a princess.

On the jewellary front, she adorned the Mang-Tikka and a beautiful Nathani to go along with.

We definitely can’t miss out on her Chuda and Kaliras. Deepika surely has set bridal fashion goals on a high pedestal for other brides-to-be.

Ranveer Singh looks nothing less than a Maharaja as he was dressed in a red kurta with intricate golden print and teamed it with a red turban. It wasn’t only Deepika who adorned jewellery, Ranveer chose to flaunt layered polki and emerald stone neck pieces.

Kangana, fresh after the release of her film “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi”, will flaunt a creation from Reddy’s ‘Atirah’ collection at the show here.

“When I first saw Anushree’s collection, I absolutely loved it because it proudly and steadfastly celebrates the woman of today – a woman of substance. I am in awe of the perfect amalgamation of the delicate beauty of the embroidery, similar to what we associate with femininity, and the clear designs signifying the inner strength that every woman has within” Kangana said in a statement.

The designer explained: “The collection represents the modern day bride who is confident, graceful and strong in her own right. Through design that is simple but very effective, we have all the elements that make her day significant.

“This time, my focus was on comfort during the summer enhanced with royalty and luxe fabrics. Each piece has been designed and crafted meticulously, giving every bride the opportunity to make her wedding ensemble vision come true. I am thrilled to have Kangana Ranaut as my showstopper. She complements the collection like no one else would.”

Sara Ali Khan – the next gen style diva

The beautiful daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh – Sara Ali Khan was first noticed by shutterbugs when she did her first photo shoot in Hello Magazine with mom Amrita Singh at the age of 16. The diva had a striking resemblance with her mom.

When Amrita Singh was asked about the future of her daughter at the time she sounded little tensed as she mentioned that next two years would be critical as her daughter will decide her career by then. Today, we would agree that Amrita Singh must be very happy with her daughter’s career choice as the diva made debut in December 2018 with two movies Kedarnath and Simmba and both has been blockbusters on the silver screen. The proud mom couldn’t have been happier than this for her daughter.

The transformation of Sara Ali Khan from an overweight girl to a style diva is commendable and we bring to you some latest pictures of the young next gen debutant Sara Ali Khan from her movie promotions. We must say that she is a fashionista in true sense. Take a look at the pictures
