Honda has launched the all-new CR-V at a starting price of Rs 28.15 lakh (ex showroom price) and has been priced upwards to Rs 32.75 lakh (Diesel AWD). The vehicle comes with a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel unit that churns out 120 bhp of max power and 300 Nm of torque. It is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission box. There is also a 2-litre petrol unit that belts out 154 hp of max power and 192 Nm of max torque. The diesel variant assures a fuel efficiency – 19.5kmpl for 2WD, 18.3kmpl for AWD. The petrol only gets a front-wheel drive with fuel efficiency of 14.4kmpl.

Hyundai has re-launched the Santro in a completely new package in India at a starting price of Rs 3.89 lakh (introductory, ex showroom). The new Santro is powered by a 1.1-litre four-cylinder petrol engine only but there is an option for automatic as well. It can churn out 68bhp of power and 99Nm of torque with a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.3kmpl. There are five variants to choose from – Dlite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The auto option though is only in Magna and Sportz while there is the option of company-fitted CNG in manual variants of Magna and Sportz. The CNG variants will have a max power output of 58bhp and max torque rating of 84Nm. Fuel efficiency figures are claimed to be 30.5km per kg.
Ford India has introduced its compact sedan – 2018 Ford Aspire facelift- at an introductory price starting from Rs 5.55 lakh and goes upto to Rs 8.14 lakh for the top-of-the-line Titanium + diesel. The compact sedan is available in seven colours, including White Gold, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey, Absolute Black Deep Impact Blue, Ruby Red and Oxford White. On the exterior the vehicle comes with redesigned front fascia features a dynamic three-dimensional cellular grille. The cabin in the new Ford Aspire features beige interiors, wider space, standard dual airbags and many convenience features.
