Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a fairytale wedding at Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan. The couple hosted a lavish reception in Delhi on Tuesday and the guest list saw several leading politicians, designer and relatives apart from Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself in attendance.

And now, the couple is gearing up for their Mumbai reception. Priyanka has few ad campaigns to shoot for in coming days. Once she fulfils all her professional commitments, she and Nick will host a Mumbai reception for her industry friends on December 15 or 16.

After the Mumbai reception, Priyanka and Nick are reported to take a short trip and will ring in New Year together.

A source saying that the team will take a short break during Christmas and this is when Nick and Priyanka will fly to an exotic location for their honeymoon. Priyanka will leave the country around December 27 and return in the first week of January.

The source also added that once PeeCee returns from her honeymoon, she will fly to Ahmedabad and resume shooting for ‘The Sky is Pink’. Once the film schedule gets wrapped up, she and Nick will go for another long holiday.

Priyanka Chopra married American singer Nick Jonas in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur, after three days of wedding celebrations which included a colourful Mehendi ceremony, a friendly cricket match and a power-packed ‘desi’ musical evening.

Priyanka looked “breathtaking in her traditional red Indian wedding outfit”, News about the Hindu ceremony on Sunday.

Priyanka, 36, and Nick, 26, first exchanged vows in a Christian ceremony officiated by the groom’s father here on December 1. They wore custom-made Ralph Lauren ensembles — a good fit as the two stars had shared the spotlight for the first time as guests of the designer at the 2017 Met Gala.

Kim, 38, stunned in a shredded silver gown that accentuated her famous curves, but it was unable to contain her ample assets. Her sleeveless couture dress featured an open back and a modest neckline, but came away from her bust to reveal her pert side boob.

The reality star was seen grappling with the fabric as she entered the theatre, before managing to fix it back onto her bust and striking a pose.

The story didn’t stop there as dapper Kanye, 41, was lambasted on Twitter by Broadway actor Jarrod Spector, who plays the late Sonny Bono in the show.

“Hey Kanye West so cool that you’re here at The Cher Show!” the 37-year-old performer said on Twitter.

“If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.”

Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon are all set to entertain their fans once again with their sizzling chemistry in Director – Amar Kaushik’s next movie, ‘Bhediya’.

Varun and Kriti had earlier worked together in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ in 2015, which also featured Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. They were also seen in a special number in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Kalank’ in 2019. Besides, Director Amar Kaushik is known for his work in ‘Stree’. He was conferred with Filmfare ‘Best Debutant Director Award’ in 2019 for ‘Stree’ featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao.

Although not many details are revealed about ‘Bhediya’, it is believed to be a monster-satire or horror-comedy. The movie will go on floors in 2021. Initially there were rumours that Shraddha Kapoor might star in the film but after the actress declined to be a part of the movie, Kriti stepped in.

A source close to the development said, “It is true that Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will be starring in Amar Kaushik’s next titled Bhediya. The duo fit the bill and the director wanted a pair that had already made its way into people’s hearts. The film will go on floors in January 2021.”

The source also said, “Bhediya is a monster satire and will see Varun and Kriti playing the characters they haven’t explored before. Kriti liked the concept and immediately gave her nod to the film that reunites her with Varun Dhawan five years after Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale that starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead. Kaushik’s film that’s been written by Niren Bhatt is said to be diametrically different from his 2018 horror-comedy, Stree.”

‘Bhediya’ will be produced by Dinesh Vijan under his production – Maddock Films. Presently, Kriti is busy shooting for a Maddock Films untitled venture which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal, Dimple Kapadia and Aparshakti Khurrana. She also has ‘Mimi’ (produced by Maddock) and ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in her kitty. If sources are to be believed, Kriti will also be seen in ‘Adipurush’ opposite Prabhas. 

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is geared up for the release of ‘Coolie No. 1’ opposite Sara Ali Khan on Amazon Prime. It will be released on Christmas 2020. He is also working with Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in a romantic dramedy.

Pooja Hedge, who made her debut with Hrithik Roshan in ‘Mohenjo Daro’ in 2016, has joined the team of Rohit Shetty’s comedy chaos, ‘Cirkus’ alongside Ranveer Singh, Varun Sharma and Jacqueline Fernandez.

The movie is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s play – Comedy of Errors and is a remake of 1982 movie, ‘Angoor’ starring Sanjeev Kumar and Devendra Verma in the lead. The 1982 laugh riot was directed by Gulzar. 

Sharing her excitement, Pooja Hegde said, “I love Rohit Shetty films. My dad and I watched Simmba together, and we were hooting at Ajay Devgn’s entry. I had first met Rohit at Ramoji [Film City] in Hyderabad a few years ago. This offer came my way out of the blue.”

Talking about Rohit Shetty and the film, she said, “It will be a masala film; it’s his version rather than an adaptation. Plus, we have a complimentary dose of Ranveer’s energy on set.”

All the characters are innocent and destiny plays the main role in bringing all characters to one place. Most of the other films are generally based on false characters and deliberately make false statements to fool others. The movie is produced by Rohit Shetty and is presented by Bhushan Kumar in association with Reliance Entertainment.

Announcing the movie on twitter, Indian film critic and film trade analyst – Taran Adarsh tweeted, “BIGGG NEWS… #RanveerSingh and director #RohitShetty team up once again… Film titled #Cirkus… #Rohit’s take on #TheComedyOfErrors… Costars #PoojaHegde, #JacquelineFernandez and #VarunSharma… Produced-directed by #RohitShetty… Bhushan Kumar and Reliance Ent present.”

The cast of the film also includes Siddhartha Jadhav, Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Vrajesh Hirjee, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Mukesh Tiwari, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, and Murli Sharma.

Slated to release in winters next year, the movie will go on floors in November 2020. It will be shot in Mumbai, Ooty and Goa. Ranveer has already worked with Rohit Shetty in ‘Simmba’. He also played a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. ‘Sooryavanshi’ also sees Ajay Devgan in a cameo. While Varun Sharma has also worked with Rohit Shetty in 2015 film ‘Dilwale’, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hedge would be directed by Rohit Shetty for the first time.

Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is all geared up for the release of his sports treat, ‘83’ where he plays the legendary Former Indian Cricket Captain – Kapil Dev. The movie is based on India’s maiden World Cup victory in 1983. The movie has been directed by Kabir Khan of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ fame. Ranveer also has a social comedy, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, lined up for release. It is directed by newcomer Divyang Thakkar. Ranveer Singh plays a Gujarati man who believes in equal rights between males and females in the society.

King Khan is all geared up to entertain his fans once again with his upcoming action flick ‘Pathan’. After a sabbatical of 2 years, Shah Rukh Khan has ensured all his lucky charms are in place for his next movie.

And what’s more… he would be working under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF) for ‘Pathan’. It won’t be wrong to say that Shah Rukh has delivered his maximum hits with Yash Raj Films – DDLJ, Veer-Zaara, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, Mohabbatein, Chak De! India… to name a few.

‘Pathan’ will see Shah Rukh romancing his ‘OM Shanti OM’ co-star Deepika Padukone. The 2007 movie proved to be a blockbuster breaking all records.

‘Pathan’, to be directed by Siddharth Anand of ‘War’ fame which starred Hrithik Rosha and Tiger Shroff, will go on floors in November this year. The action-packed film will be a high voltage and stylish drama.

To be shot at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, the first schedule will go-on floors for 2 months. Taking a break for the new year, the film unit will be joined by the heartthrob John Abraham and Deepika in early 2021. By then, John will be completing the next sequence of ‘Satyameva Jayate’.

John will be playing the antagonist in Shah Rukh’s comeback movie. John last played the negative role in YRF’s Dhoom where he stole the hearts with swanky bikes and stunts in 2004. This will be the first time when Shah Rukh and John will work together.

An unnamed source was quoted as saying to a leading daily, “The first schedule will be a two-month affair that will focus solely on Shah Rukh’s portions, after which the unit will take a New Year’s break. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, who plays the antagonist, will join the second stint that is slated for January 2021. Like Siddharth’s previous outing War [2019], Pathan will be a slick and stylish revenge drama. Since the film marks Shah Rukh and John’s first on-screen union, Adi and Siddharth have etched out dramatic scenes featuring them. They have roped in action director Parvez Shaikh, who has worked on War, Brahmastra and Bell Bottom, to design high-octane fight sequences between the duo.”

‘Pathan’ will see Shah Rukh playing the most heroic character of his career. The character is rooted, earthy and larger-than-life.

Talking about Shah Rukh’s looks, he would be sporting long hairs and a woolly stubble. Those who are following the sporting extravaganza, Indian Premier League (IPL), must have noticed Shah Rukh’s new look, which is especially for this role. His looks will be curated by stylist Shaleena Nathani. Just as he did in Raees in 2017, Shah Rukh would don customised sunglasses in Pathan as well.

Shah Rukh was last seen in K.L. Rai’s ‘Zero’ in 2018. His last movie with YRF was ‘Fan’ which hit the theatres in 2016. He was next set to start the Rakesh Sharma biopic, ‘Salute’ but just few months before shooting, he backed out of it as he didn’t want to venture into another film set against the backdrop of space.

Speaking on his 2 years sabbatical, Shah Rukh said last year, “I have no film with me right now. I am not working on any film. Usually what happens is when your one film is coming to an end, you begin work on your next film and I get involved within 3-4 months. But this time I am just not feeling like…My heart doesn’t allow me to… I just felt that I should rather take time out, watch films, listen to stories and read more books. Even my kids are in their college stage…my daughter is going to college and my son is about to finish his studies. So, I just want to spend more time with my family.”

Notably, ‘Pathan’ will be YRF’s 50 film. While everyone expected YRF’s 50^th film to be from ‘Dhoom’ series or ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ series, Aditya Chopra announced a magnum opus with his most successful actor, Shah Rukh Khan.
